Komín is one of those Brno districts that makes more sense when you stop calling it a district for an hour. It was a village, and the village is still legible inside the city that absorbed it. This six-stop walk uses a medieval church, an old street name, a rocky fortification site, a hydro plant, a resurrected cemetery and a surprisingly considerate panel estate to show how Komín kept changing without becoming anonymous. One stop also contains a useful Streetours lesson: even municipal sources can disagree, and when they do, we tell you instead of quietly choosing the tidier date.
